Heading to Vegas!
That’s right in 12 hours I will be halfway to Houston where I will then depart for Las Vegas. I am heading there with Scottie as an early birthday present, how lucky am I! I hope the luck continues! I am not much of a gambler, probably because I convert the amount I am spending into the time I spend on my feet at the tea shop, but nonetheless I will be placing a few wagers. But I am really there to eat! Is it bad I am dreaming of a tamale and margarita from Mesa Grill? Or a french pastry and cafe au lait from Payard? Hell no! That is my type of vacation! We are also there to see shows, specifically Blue Man Group and Cirque de Soleil’s “Ka” which I hear is fabulous. All of this crammed into 2 1/2 days, no I don’t plan to sleep at all…but it’s Vegas baby! I plan to have a full report next week, stay tuned!
